Homecoming Dating Tips and Advice. As homecoming approaches this year many will also be looking for a date for the dance, although it's always kool to go alone, going with a date can be even better. For many homecoming is the first dance of the year or maybe even your first date. It can be a little bit overwhelming but follow these tips and homecoming night will be a night to remember.
- Don't stress over your date if you can go with someone you're close too like a good guy friend ( or good girl friend if you're a guy) this way you know you'll have fun.
- If you ask someone out and they say no don't be afarid to ask someone else out instead.
- If you can't find a date it's always fun to go with a big group of friends or your very best friend. They'll always be other people at the dance without dates as well.
- Wear clothes or dresses that you know you feel comfortable in, this way you can dance the night away without feel constricted.
- If you're a girl and you plan on wearing heels break your heels in before homecoming night that way your feet won't bother you the whole night.
- Go out to eat before the dance. Many homecoming dances don't serve food so to avoid being hungry all night be sure to go out to eat before the dance.
- Be yourself and let down your guard. Don't be afraid to act cheesy or do a cheesy dance. Homecoming is all about having fun.
- If you're a girl be sure to carry lip gloss, and oil blotting sheets to touch up your makeup during the night. This way you look fresh and pretty for your date.
