Taylor Swift Donated Her Prom Dress in First Celebrity Dress Charity Auction. The dress that was donated was a Jessica McClintock dress which is shown below. Taylor wore the dress to her best friend's 18th birthday party where they wore prom dresses, gloves, and tiaras while going out for Chinese food. Sounds like a great idea for a party to me!

Taylor says Taylor says: “I chose to give away this prom dress because I wore it once and loved it! To keep it around, hanging there all by itself and lonely in my closet, never to be worn again seemed a little pointless. I want another girl somewhere to feel good in it and have a great prom night because of this dress.”

The dress sold for 1,200 and the auction was held at Donate my Dress.
